Manhattan Towers

The Manhattan Towers, located three blocks west of the 405 Freeway, two miles south of LAX, and one mile east of California's finest beaches, consist of three, six-story triangular shaped buildings designed by Herbert Nadel, a noted Los Angeles architect. Originally constructed in 1985, the prime office property features black reflective windows and a natural-appearing stone facade constructed of pre-cast concrete.

The scope of the project includes five full floors of demolition, restroom upgrades and main lobby capital upgrades with high-end stone and millwork finishes. The central exterior plaza, which connects the three buildings, providing a communal area for the users, underwent major upgrades including structural reinforcement, custom concrete pavers, refinished planters with native plantings, modernized lighting systems, glass rail enclosures and a large IPE wood with site furniture.

Both preconstruction and construction services were provided on an accelerated schedule with portions of the work being performed off-hours as the buildings are fully operational.
